Wastage

Wastage can be described as any purchased items that are not used or sold but instead discarded, for example the ends of a tomato. Keeping track of wastage helps you reduce wastage.
- When adding Wastage, click on ‘STOCK ORDERS’.
- Click on ‘WASTAGE’.

- Click on ‘WASTAGE’ icon.

- Enter the wastage item on the ‘WASTAGE’ page.

- Select the ‘DATE’ for the wastage item, by clicking on the ‘DATE’ icon.

- Select the ‘DEPARTMENT’, by clicking on the drop box.
- Search the ‘ITEM’, by typing in the item and clicking on ‘SEARCH’ icon.
- Click on ‘CREATE WASTAGE’.

- The ‘CREATOR’ of the wastage item will be recorded.
- To save as a template, click on ‘SAVE TEMPLATE’.
- To print the wastage, click ‘PRINT’ button.
- To add additional notes, click on ‘NOTES’ button.
- You can delete the wastage item by clicking on ‘DELETE’ button.
- Finally click on ‘COMPLETE WASTAGE’, to save the wastage item.

- The date the wastage item was ‘PLACED’ will be recorded.
- The date the wastage item was ‘COMPLETED’ will also be recorded.
- To close the specific wastage item sheet, click on the ‘CLOSE’ icon.
STEP-BY-STEP BREAKDOWN
- When adding Wastage, click on ‘STOCK ORDERS’.
- Click on ‘WASTAGE’.
- Click on ‘WASTAGE’ icon.
- Enter the wastage item on the ‘WASTAGE’ page.
- Select the ‘DATE’ for the wastage item, by clicking on the ‘DATE’ icon.
